Please upload a clear, high-quality copy of the front of your official government-issued ID from your country of residence. And, a photo of your face next to your uploaded ID.
You can scan it, take a photo, or use your computer's webcam. A valid ID can be a driver's license, a government-issued photo ID, or a passport.
To make sure it's really you, we check your application against a copy of your ID and and a photo of you. That way we can be sure someone isn't trying to use your identity.

Your ID will be stored securely.
- The ID must be an accepted document type from an issuing country in the list below.
- We're only able to accept IDs with Latin characters. Please consult the list below to see which IDs are accepted for your issuing country.
- Your document must clearly display your name, date of birth and expiration date.
- Your document must be valid, legible, and not expired. Otherwise, we may request you to provide another copy.
- The name on the document must correspond with the name on the Mobile Money/bank account we'll use for payouts when your item is sold on Upfrica
- Government-issued health cards are not an acceptable form of ID.
- The uploaded copy must be a JPEG or PNG.
- Our team will immediately review your uploaded verification photo and keep you updated via email.
